AHS Orchestra UIL results

Please congratulate all of our AHS Orchestra students who participated in UIL Concert & Sightreading evaluations over the past week!  The kids did SUCH a fantastic job representing our COLTS Family through exceptional behavior and performances!

On Tuesday, the Concert and Sinfonia orchestras gave wonderful performances.  Concert Orchestra, which is mostly 9th graders, earned Sweepstakes, meaning a rating of Superior from judges for both their stage and sightreading performances, demonstrating the bright future of the AHS Orchestra.  Sinfonia Orchestra, many of whom went to HS UIL for the first time, earned a rating of Excellent from both the stage and sightreading judges.

On Wednesday, the Philharmonic Orchestra represented AHS, bringing their best performance, and earning a Sweepstakes.  Today, our Symphony Orchestra gave a performance that was truly beyond their years, presenting a moving musical experience.  We are so proud of the kids for earning a Superior from the stage judges, and an Excellent from the sightreading judges.

Thank you to everyone for your support of our AHS Orchestra students!!!
