1. REMIND & VERIZON WIRELESS:  Verizon has decided to begin charging Remind a significant spam fee for users to receive Remind notifications via text, so beginning 1/28/19, Verizon users will no longer receive updates from Remind classes via text.  If you have service through Verizon, PLEASE download the Remind app, so that you can receive Remind updates via push notifications.  If you have an opinion on this new policy by Verizon, we encourage you to contact Verizon to share your thoughts.

2. UTA OPEN REHEARSAL:  on Tuesday, February 5, the AHS Orchestra has the wonderful opportunity to observe a rehearsal of the UTA Symphony Orchestra!  Participating students will miss 10th period, and will return to AHS around 5:30p.  Students must be eligible (based on the 3rd six weeks) to participate, and must return the signed permission slip (given to students in class, and available on Charms) by Friday, January 25.

3. WEBSITE:  ahsorchestra.com is back up, and we do not expect any further outages.  Make sure you submit your practice journals!!!

4. BOOSTER MEETING:  the booster meeting scheduled for January 29 is canceled due to no new agenda items needing discussion at this time.  The next booster meeting will be Tuesday, February 19, at 7p.  We hope to see you there!
