The Orchestra Required Parent Meeting is Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. All students must attend accompanied by  one parent/guardian; please no older siblings. We will have an Orchestra Officer meeting on Tuesday, August 30 during lunch in the Orchestra Room.

4. REQUIRED ORCHESTRA MATERIALS

Every student, whether they own or rent an instrument, must have the following materials:

  • Shoulder Rest (for 4/4 size for violin OR 15-16 inch size viola)
  • Rosin 
    • Sherman, D’Addario, Bernadel, Kaplan, Pirastro, Magic, or Hidersine brand recommended for VIOLIN, VIOLA, and CELLO
    • Nyman, Kolstein, Pops, or Carlsson brand recommended for BASS
  • Music Stand for home practice (foldable or not)

5. PRIVATE INSTRUMENT RENTAL UPGRADES
