Orchestra Update: October 22

1. TRIP SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DUE MON, OCT 25 at 3:30 PM.

The Trip Scholarship Application is due Monday, October 25 at 3:30 PM. No late applications will be considered. The application can be found in the trip packet handed out at the concert. You can download another copy from the Forms & Docs page on our website: ahsorchestra.com. Hard copies can be found in the cabinet by the entrance to the orchestra room; students know where this is. 

2. MASQUERADE PARTY

Join us for the Masquerade Party on Friday, October 29. Dress up in your best costume for a chance to win a $10 gift card to Chick-fil-A. Are you an artist? Then you have a better chance at the pumpkin decorating contest. First place winner gets a $10 gift card as well. Officers are putting together a great Escape room and other exciting games. 

Everyone will bring one food or drink item to share. Sign-up sheets will be hanging in the orchestra room on Monday morning. 

3. SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA LETTER JACKET FITTINGS 

By making the Varsity ensemble at AHS, Symphony Orchestra members have lettered in Orchestra and are eligible to get a Letter Jacket.

All-Star Letter Jackets will be in the orchestra room,  WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27 AT 3:00 PM to fit you for a jacket and collect your order form and payment. 

4. TRIP DEPOSIT & CONTRACT DUE NOV 18

Spring Trip Deposit ($200) and Contract are due on Thursday, November 18. The contract is in the Spring Trip Information packet. 

Payment can be made either by: 

  • check or cash brought to the orchestra room.
